This nearly 200-year-old Charles Frodsham London boxed chronometer is marked in chalk on the inside “1813.” The outer wood box appears to be original. The clock’s inner box includes a lock and key. The timepiece runs, but not for a full 24 hours.

A clock I built that uses GPS to get a very accurate time. The casing is based on an old art deco style mantle clock. Old binoculars provide eye pieces through which the user peers and a periscope inside the box allows them to see a small LCD screen displaying the time. A crank handle on the side must be turned Mutoscope style to allow the flickering time display to appear.
